CVE-2023-39655 is a critical host header injection vulnerability affecting @perfood/couch-auth versions <= 0.20.0. An attacker can craft a malicious host header in a password reset request, redirecting the password reset link to an attacker-controlled server. This allows for the theft of password reset tokens, leading to potential account takeover with a CVSS score of 9.6 (CRITICAL).
