CVE-2023-36474 is a subdomain takeover vulnerability affecting Interactsh servers prior to version 1.0.0. Specifically, the default CNAME entry for the 'app.' subdomain, pointing to projectdiscovery.github.io, could be exploited if a user had not configured their own web client. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.1) allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary client-side code (cross-site scripting) in a user's browser, requiring user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, and the vulnerability shows no signs of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
