CVE-2023-34966 is an infinite loop vulnerability in Samba's mdssvc RPC service, affecting Debian, Fedora, Red Hat, and Samba itself. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a denial of service by sending a malformed RPC request that causes the service to consume 100% CPU.
