CVE-2023-34203 is a URL injection vulnerability affecting Progress OpenEdge OEM and OEE versions prior to 12.7, as well as specific LTS and 12.x branches. An authenticated remote user with any role can exploit this to alter identity or role membership, potentially escalating privileges to administrator level. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
