CVE-2023-31301 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Sesami Cash Point & Transport Optimizer (CPTO) version 6.3.8.6. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.1) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code and access sensitive information by injecting malicious scripts into the Username field of the login form, which are then stored and executed when viewed in the application logs. While the attack complexity is low, user interaction is required for exploitation. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
