CVE-2023-30945 is a critical unauthenticated arbitrary file read/write vulnerability affecting Palantir's VHS, VCD, and Clips2 services. The flaw stems from missing input validation on filenames, allowing attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files on the filesystem. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no authentication or user interaction required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
