CVE-2023-2899 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Google Map Shortcode WordPress plugin up to version 3.1.2. The flaw stems from insufficient validation and escaping of shortcode attributes, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level privileges to inject malicious scripts.
