CVE-2023-28483 is a high-severity vulnerability in Tigergraph Enterprise 3.7.0 that allows authenticated users to bypass file write restrictions. Specifically, GSQL queries containing User-Defined Functions (UDFs) can write to arbitrary file locations on the remote server, even if the GSQL.FileOutputPolicy configuration is set to restrict such actions. This could lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system (CVSS 8.8). While the vulnerability has a high CVSS score, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
