CVE-2023-28075 is a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability found in Dell BIOS. A local, authenticated attacker with physical access could exploit this by timing a Direct Memory Access (DMA) transaction during a System Management Interrupt (SMI) to achieve arbitrary code execution. Rated 6.3 MEDIUM, this attack requires physical access and high attack complexity, but could lead to significant impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
