CVE-2023-27343 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in PDF-XChange Editor's EMF file parsing, affecting PDF-XChange Editor and PDF-XChange PDF-Tools. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (HIGH), it allows remote attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution if a user opens a specially crafted EMF file. While the vulnerability requires user interaction, successful exploitation grants an attacker the ability to execute code in the context of the current process.
