CVE-2023-27105 is a critical directory traversal vulnerability affecting the Wi-Fi file transfer module of Shanling M5S (MTouch OS v4.3) and M2X (MTouch OS v3.3) portable music players. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to remotely read, delete, or modify any system files, leading to complete compromise of the device. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction required, resulting in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
