CVE-2023-24609 is an integer overflow vulnerability affecting Matrix SSL 4.x through 4.6.0 and Rambus TLS Toolkit. This flaw, residing in the TLS 1.3 server's Client Hello Pre-Shared Key extension parsing, can be triggered by crafted TLS messages. Rated 7.5 HIGH (CVSSv3.1), it allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service (A:H) due to excessive CPU load from SHA-2 hash calculations.
