CVE-2023-23912 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Ubiquiti EdgeRouters (v2.0.9-hotfix.5 and earlier) and UniFi Security Gateways (v4.4.56 and earlier) when DHCPv6 prefix delegation is set to dhcpv6-stateless or dhcpv6-stateful. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.8) allows an unauthenticated attacker directly connected to the WAN interface to achieve full compromise of the device. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
