CVE-2023-23614 is an Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability affecting Pi-hole Web interface versions 4.0 through 5.18.2. It allows an attacker to "pass the hash" using the admin password hash as a "remember me" cookie, enabling persistent access even if the cookie theoretically expires, or to log in directly if the hash is obtained through other means. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
