CVE-2023-2286 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP Activity Log plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 4.5.0. This flaw stems from inadequate nonce validation within the ajax_run_cleanup function. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this by tricking a site administrator into clicking a malicious link, leading to unauthorized invocation of the cleanup function. With a CVSS score of 4.3 (Medium), the attack requires user interaction and has a low impact on integrity.
