22
FAUCET Score

CVE-2023-22475 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Canarytokens, an open-source network activity tracking tool, specifically affecting the history page of triggered tokens. An attacker who discovers an HTTP-based Canarytoken URL can inject malicious JavaScript into its history page, which executes when the token's creator views it. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.1) has a low attack complexity and requires user interaction, potentially allowing an attacker to disable/delete the token, view its activation history, or gather information about the creator. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
