CVE-2023-20231 is a high-severity vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco IOS XE Software, allowing an authenticated, remote attacker to perform an injection attack due to insufficient input validation. This flaw could enable the execution of arbitrary Cisco IOS XE CLI commands with level 15 privileges. While the CVSS score is 8.8 (High), exploitation requires obtaining credentials for a non-default Lobby Ambassador account.
