CVE-2023-20119 describes a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco AsyncOS Software for Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager, Cisco Secure Email Gateway, and Cisco Web Security Appliance. This flaw, caused by insufficient input validation, allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code or access sensitive browser-based information by tricking a user into clicking a specially crafted link. Rated Medium (CVSS 6.1), the attack requires user interaction but has low attack complexity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
