An attacker can craft a malicious UBIFS file to overwrite files outside the intended extraction directory if the ubireader_extract_files process has write permissions. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.5) requires user interaction (UI:R) to process the malicious file, leading to a high impact on integrity (I:H) but no impact on confidentiality or availability.
