19
FAUCET Score

CVE-2022-46902 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting Vocera Report Server and Voice Server versions 5.x through 5.8. An attacker can exploit a websocket function in the Vocera Report Console during a database restoration from a ZIP archive. This allows for arbitrary file writing outside the intended temporary directory due to improper validation of file paths within the ZIP archive. The vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), indicating a severe risk. It is remotely exploitable with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, potentially leading to high confidentiality impact. However, there is no impact on integrity or availability. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there publicly available exploit modules in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB. Community discussion and media coverage for this CVE are minimal, suggesting low public awareness and attention.
