CVE-2022-4648 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Real Testimonials WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.0. The flaw stems from insufficient validation and escaping of shortcode attributes, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level privileges to inject malicious scripts. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) could lead to compromise of higher-privileged users, such as administrators, through client-side attacks. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
