CVE-2022-46161 is a critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting pdfmake versions up to and including 0.2.5, an open-source JavaScript PDF printing library. This flaw stems from an unsafe evaluation of user-controlled input, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the process running pdfmake. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There are currently no known fixes, active exploits, or publicly available exploit code, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
