CVE-2022-45168 describes a Two-Factor Authentication bypass vulnerability in LIVEBOX Collaboration vDesk versions up to v018. An authenticated attacker can exploit this by generating or regenerating backup codes via specific endpoints (/login/backup_code and /api/v1/vdeskintegration/createbackupcodes) before the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) check is performed. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) allows for high integrity impact (I:H) without requiring user interaction, enabling unauthorized access to accounts.
