CVE-2022-4482 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Carousel, Slider, Gallery by WP Carousel WordPress plugin prior to version 2.5.3. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows authenticated users with contributor-level privileges to inject malicious scripts due to improper validation of shortcode attributes. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the browser of high-privilege users, such as administrators.
