CVE-2022-44796 is a critical authorization bypass vulnerability affecting Object First Ootbi BETA builds prior to 1.0.13.1611. The flaw stems from the use of a cryptographically weak secret key for JWT token generation, allowing attackers to predict sequences and forge tokens to gain unauthorized access to the Web UI. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability can be exploited remotely with low complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
