CVE-2022-39957 is a response body bypass vulnerability affecting the OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) versions 3.0.x, 3.1.x, 3.2.1, and 3.3.2. An attacker can use an HTTP Accept header with a specific "charset" parameter to bypass the Web Application Firewall (WAF) and access restricted resources that would normally be detected. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, potentially leading to high confidentiality impact.
