CVE-2022-37709 describes an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting Tesla Model 3 vehicles running firmware V11.0(2022.4.5.1) and the Tesla mobile app v4.23. This flaw allows for Man-in-the-Middle attacks on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) channel used for Phone Key authentication. With a CVSS score of 5.3 (Medium), the vulnerability requires adjacent network access and high attack complexity, but could enable an attacker to unlock and drive the vehicle. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
