CVE-2022-36447 describes a critical inflation vulnerability in Chia Network CAT1 Standard 1.0.0, allowing any token holder to arbitrarily increase the total supply of any CAT1 token on the Chia blockchain. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a high impact on integrity by devaluing affected tokens. While the attack is auditable on-chain, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this flaw.
