CVE-2022-31090

20
FAUCET Score

CVE-2022-31090 affects Guzzle, an extensible PHP HTTP client, specifically versions prior to 7.4.5 (and 6.5.8 for earlier series). The vulnerability allows sensitive Authorization headers to be inadvertently sent to different origins during redirects when using Guzzle's cURL handler, due to incomplete removal of CURLOPT_HTTPAUTH. This is a high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.7) with a network attack vector and low attack complexity, potentially leading to high confidentiality impact (CWE-200, CWE-212). There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
