CVE-2022-30324 is a critical privilege escalation vulnerability affecting HashiCorp Nomad and Nomad Enterprise versions 0.2.0 through 1.3.0. It allows an attacker to escalate privileges on the client agent host by exploiting go-getter vulnerabilities within the artifact stanza of submitted jobs. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While patches are available in versions 1.1.14, 1.2.8, and 1.3.1, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
