A specially crafted IP packet can cause the rsm->total_len value to wrap around, leading to a small integer for memory allocation and subsequent out-of-bounds writes. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 8.1 (HIGH), indicating a network-based attack with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but with high attack complexity.
