CVE-2022-28628 is a local arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware versions prior to 2.71. An unprivileged local user can exploit this vulnerability with low attack complexity to achieve a complete loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While HPE has released a firmware update to address this, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
