CVE-2022-28374 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting Verizon 5G Home LVSKIHP OutDoorUnit (ODU) firmware version 3.33.101.0. An authenticated attacker on the local network can inject shell metacharacters into unsanitized DMACC URLs on the Settings page of the Engineering portal. This allows for arbitrary command execution as root, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, reflected in its CVSS score of 8.8 (High).
