CVE-2022-27486 is an OS command injection vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Fortinet FortiDDoS and FortiDDoS-F products. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by using specific CLI commands to execute arbitrary shell code with root privileges. Rated 7.8 HIGH on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability allows for full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
