CVE-2022-26860 is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Dell BIOS versions. A local attacker could exploit this by sending malicious input via System Management Interrupt (SMI) to bypass security checks, leading to arbitrary code execution in System Management Mode (SMM). With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability poses a significant risk of complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
