CVE-2022-26672

30
FAUCET Score

CVE-2022-26672 describes a critical vulnerability in ASUS WebStorage where a hardcoded API token in the application's source code allows unauthenticated remote attackers to establish server connections. This enables attackers to perform login attempts against general user accounts, and successful logins grant full access, modification, or deletion capabilities for that account's information. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog.
