CVE-2022-24450 is a high-severity Incorrect Access Control vulnerability (CVSS 8.8) affecting NATS nats-server and nats-streaming-server versions prior to 2.7.2. An authenticated attacker can exploit a flaw in the "dynamically provisioned sandbox accounts" feature to escalate privileges and gain full control of the System account. This vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, requiring only low privileges for an attacker to achieve complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
