CVE-2022-24389 is a critical command injection vulnerability in the "cert_utils" component of rconfig, affecting Fidelis Network and Deception products prior to version 9.4.5. An attacker with user-level CLI access can inject root-level commands into various Fidelis components, including CommandPost, Collector, Sensor, and Sandbox, as well as neighboring Fidelis systems. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (HIGH), this vulnerability allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
