CVE-2022-2437 is a critical deserialization of untrusted input vulnerability affecting the Feed Them Social – for Twitter feed, Youtube and more WordPress plugin, specifically versions up to and including 2.9.8.5. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP objects by leveraging a PHAR wrapper via the 'fts_url' parameter, provided a suitable POP chain exists and a serialized payload can be uploaded. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability poses a significant risk due to its network-based attack vector, low attack complexity, and high potential for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
