CVE-2022-23328 is a design flaw in all versions of Go-Ethereum that allows an attacker to launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack. By sending a large number of high-gas-price transactions, an attacker can flood a victim Geth node's memory pool, preventing new legitimate transactions from being processed. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), indicating a severe impact on availability with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
