CVE-2022-22207 is a Use After Free vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS, specifically affecting the Advanced Forwarding Toolkit (AFT) manager process (aftmand) on MX Series devices. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a kernel crash and sustained Denial of Service (DoS) by intensively polling Abstracted Fabric (AF) interface statistics. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), the vulnerability can be exploited remotely with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
