CVE-2022-20962 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Localdisk Management feature of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) that allows an authenticated, remote attacker to make unauthorized changes to the file system. Due to insufficient input validation, an attacker can send a crafted HTTP request with absolute path sequences to upload malicious files to arbitrary locations, potentially gaining system-level command execution. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 8.8 (High) and could lead to complete compromise of the affected device. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
