CVE-2022-1910 describes a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Shortcodes and extra features for Phlox WordPress plugin versions prior to 2.9.8. This flaw stems from insufficient sanitization and escaping of a parameter before it's displayed in the response. Rated with a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium), this vulnerability can be exploited remotely with low attack complexity, requiring user interaction. A successful attack could lead to limited confidentiality and integrity impacts, such as session hijacking or defacement.
