It allows unauthenticated attackers to modify arbitrary blog options, such as enabling user registration and setting a default administrator role, due to missing authorization and CSRF checks on a REST endpoint. This high-severity flaw (CVSS 8.8) carries a significant risk of complete blog takeover.
