CVE-2022-0484 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting Mirantis Container Cloud Lens Extension versions prior to v3.1.1. It stems from insufficient validation of URLs, allowing the extension to open external, non-browser programs when attempting to sign on to a new cluster. An attacker could exploit this by hosting a malicious configuration file on a web server and tricking a user into adding a new cluster via its URL, potentially leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While the CVSS score is 8.8 (High), there is currently no known active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
