CVE-2022-0191 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Ad Invalid Click Protector (AICP) WordPress plugin prior to version 1.2.7. This flaw allows an attacker to trick a logged-in administrator into unknowingly deleting arbitrary user bans. Rated with a CVSS score of 6.5 (Medium), this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, requiring user interaction to succeed, and could lead to high integrity impact by removing legitimate bans. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, nor are there any publicly available exploit modules or proof-of-concept code in Metasploit, Nuclei, or ExploitDB. The vulnerability has also received minimal community discussion and media coverage.
