CVE-2021-45085 describes a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in GNOME Web (Epiphany) versions prior to 40.4 and 41.1. An attacker could exploit this by crafting a malicious webpage that, once visited frequently enough by a user to appear on their "Most Visited" list, would execute arbitrary script within an internal about: page. With a CVSS score of 6.1 (MEDIUM), this vulnerability requires user interaction and has a low impact on confidentiality and integrity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
