CVE-2021-45039 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting multiple models of Uniview IP Cameras, including IPC_G6103, IPC_G61, and others. This flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to achieve code execution by sending specially crafted UDP packets to port 7788, enabling the telnetd service with hardcoded root credentials. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to full compromise of the affected device. Despite its severity, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
