CVE-2021-44426 describes an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in AnyDesk versions prior to 6.2.6 and 6.3.5. This flaw allows an attacker, also connected to a remote machine via AnyDesk, to upload files to a victim's local Downloads directory without user approval, provided the victim is using the Windows client to connect to the same remote machine. Rated 8.8 HIGH, this vulnerability has a high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, requiring user interaction (UI:R) but with low attack complexity (AC:L). Despite its severity, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
