CVE-2021-44016 is a memory corruption vulnerability in the plmxmlAdapterSE70.dll library affecting multiple versions of Siemens JT2Go, Solid Edge, and Teamcenter Visualization. An attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted PAR file, leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the current user. Rated 7.8 HIGH, this vulnerability requires user interaction and local access, but could result in full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
